Harmonie 1872 Kolín

The orchestra status is a voluntary association from 2003 and has 70 members.Harmonie 1872 Kolín takes part at ceremonial or reverent happenings (see foto), at celebrations and anniversary (see foto) or at cultural and sport actions (see foto). The orchestra members are ready to help with the organization of the action.

The repertoire of the Harmonie 1872 Kolín contains all musical genres – including opera, musical, symphonic, march and pop-music. The orchestra cooperates with well-known professional artists. Regular guest of the Harmonie 1872 Kolín is the vocal soloist and moderator Renée Nachtigallová. The orchestra cooperates at concerts and marchs with the majorette group Srdíčko Kolín.

The president of the voluntary association is Zdeněk Jírek, the vice-president is Radek Šubotnik. The conductor of the orcherstra is the composer, conductor, and music educator Petr Stříška.
